South Florida Bass Fishing 1-09-08

The bass fishing in South Florida over the last 2 days has been pretty good. Our water is starting to heat up and bass are getting ready to spawn. We've been catching bass up to 4 lbs and on Sunday we boated 42 bass in the South Florida Everglades using senko style baits. With the water levels beginning to drop the fishing in the Everglades is starting to turn on much early than usual. By the end of January to early February the bass fishing should be red hot. The peacock bass fishing will also heat up with these warm days we are having. South Florida Peacock Bass Fishing Reports 1-05-08

It's been a good week peacock bass fishing in South Florida. On Saturday January 5th we went peacock bass fishing in South Florida in the Miami area and boated 17 peacocks up to 2 lbs. None of these fish were big but we had plenty of action. Most of these fish were caught on live shiners in deeper water. The action should really pick up good within the next few weeks with just a few warm days. Peacock Bass in South Florida lakes and canals like warm to hot water for them to be really aggressive. For more information on fishing South Florida for peacock bass or largemouth bass e-mail me at floridafishing@bellsouth.net or give me a call at (954) 445-1811 and I'll let you know where the bass are biting!
