South Florida Peacock & Bass Fishing Reports 8-22-07

The fishing in South Florida for peacock bass and largemouth bass is still quite good. We decided to fish for a half-day for bass yesterday and boated 15 bass up to 4 lbs. After about 11:30 am we had to head back to the ramp because the South Florida heat and thunderstorms were getting the best of us. The summer is a good time for peacock bass and largemouth if you know when and where to fish. Peacock bass usually love hot water and fast moving baits because their metabolism is high. Give us a call for more detailed or booking information at (954) 445-1811 or check out our website at http://www.southfloridafishing.org/ . We also are now offering trips to Brazil deep into the Amazon for monster Peacock Bass and this information can be seen at the website or at http://www.amazonpeacockbass.blogspot.com/.

South Florida Peacock & Bass Fishing Reports 8-10-07

The fishing in South Florida over the last few weeks has been especially good for peacock bass. We've been catching up to 20 fish on half-day trips and up to 30 for full-day trips. The bass fishing in the Florida Everglades is starting to slow down during day light hours but the night fishing is still red hot. We were out fun fishing last Wednesday and a few nice fish up to 6 lbs. on plastic floating worms. The peacock bass are biting live bait and jigs or rattletraps. Topwaters lures worked quickly will also catch it's fair share of peacocks or bass. For more detailed information or fishing reports of South Florida fishing check out our other websites and blogs at www.southfloridafishing.org and www.thefloridafishingguide.com . We can arrange a fishing trip for up to 3 people and fish with lures or live bait. We can also be reached by e-mail at floridafishing@bellsouth.net or call us at (954) 445-1811.
