South Florida Peacock & Bass Fishing Reports 8-10-07

The fishing in South Florida over the last few weeks has been especially good for peacock bass. We've been catching up to 20 fish on half-day trips and up to 30 for full-day trips. The bass fishing in the Florida Everglades is starting to slow down during day light hours but the night fishing is still red hot. We were out fun fishing last Wednesday and a few nice fish up to 6 lbs. on plastic floating worms. The peacock bass are biting live bait and jigs or rattletraps. Topwaters lures worked quickly will also catch it's fair share of peacocks or bass. For more detailed information or fishing reports of South Florida fishing check out our other websites and blogs at www.southfloridafishing.org and www.thefloridafishingguide.com . We can arrange a fishing trip for up to 3 people and fish with lures or live bait. We can also be reached by e-mail at floridafishing@bellsouth.net or call us at (954) 445-1811.
